Feta Dip
(Feta Meze)
What You Need:
  • ˝ pound feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup walnuts dash of cayenne
  • 2 teaspoons minced parsley

  • How To Cook:
    1. Taste feta; if too salty, soak in cold water and cover; refrigerate for several hours. Drain cheese and break into chunks.

    2. Put 1 tablespoon oil and 4 tablespoons milk in blender. Add half of the feta and half of the walnuts. Blend to a smooth consistency.

    3. Empty the blender container and repeat with the rest of the feta, oil, milk, and walnuts.

    4. Combine the two batches in a large bowl, add cayenne, blend, and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

    5. Sprinkle with parsley; serve with crackers.

    To Make: 2 cups
