Pork Steak
What You Need:
  • 4¾ pound pork steaks, deboned
  • tablespoons celery seeds
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons freshly rendered lard or peanut oil
  • 1½ cups Paprika Gravy

  • How To Cook:
    1. Debone the pork steaks and pound out to 1/8-inch thickness.

    2. Rub both sides of the steak with the celery seeds.

    3. Place the flour in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper.

    4. Dredge the pork in the seasoned flour and pan-fry in lard over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

    5. Serve with Paprika Gravy.

    To Serve: 4 - 6
