											| What You Need: |  |  |  |  |  
	| 1 pound beef and/or pork
		2 tablespoons shortening
		1 cup water
		½ teaspoon salt
		Pepper to taste
		1 cup celery, sliced
		1 cup onion, thinly sliced
		¼ cup soy sauce
		1 can sliced mushrooms, undrained
		3 tablespoons cornstarch
		1 can bean sprouts, drained
		4 cups cooked rice |  |  |  |  |

									| How To Cook: |  |  |  |  |  | 1. Cut beef and/or pork into ½ inch pieces. 
 
 |  | 2. Slowly brown the meat in hot shortening; add water, salt and pepper. 
 
 |  | 3. Cover with tight fitting cover; cook 10 minutes. 
 
 |  | 4. Add celery and onion, cook 2 minutes. 
 
 |  | 5. Add mushrooms with liquid. 
 
 |  | 6. Mix together soy sauce and slowly stir into until mixture. 
 
 |  | 7. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add bean sprouts. Serve over hot rice.
