Savoury Pork Noodles
What You Need:
  • 3 pound lean pork fillet
  • 3 or 4 large onions
  • A little fat for frying
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 4 skinned tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons piquant table sauce
  • ˝ pound strong Cheddar cheese
  • 1 or 2 chilies
  • 1 packet flat noodles

  • How To Cook:
    1. Dice the pork removing the sinews.

    2. Chop the onions and fry with the pork using very little extra fat.

    3. Add the crushed garlic, salt, pepper, chilies, lemon juice, tomatoes, sugar and piquant sauce and simmer gently until tender.

    4. Grate the cheese and stir into the mixture; do not cook after the cheese has been added.

    5. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water, after breaking them into short lengths, and fold gently into the pork mixture.

    To Serve: 6 - 8
