Stuffed Loin Of Hogget
What You Need:
  • Loin of hogget (1-year-old lamb)
  • ˝ teaspoon mixed herbs, dried
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 oz suet
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 - 6 oz breadcrumbs

  • How To Cook:
    1. Bone the lamb.

    2. Combine the other ingredients to make a stuffing, lay this along the loin, roll up and tie.

    3. Roast in a moderate oven (350°F) for 2 - 2˝ hours.

    To Serve: 4 - 6
