Toad In The Hole
What You Need:
  • About ½ oz dripping
  • ½ pint Yorkshire pudding
  • ½ - ¾ pound sausages
  • Flour
  • Lamb chops

  • How To Cook:
    1. Heat dripping in an oblong baking tin and when smoking hot, pour in Yorkshire pudding mixture.

    2. Over it arrange sausages (skinned or not, as preferred), which have been rolled lightly in flour.

    3. Alternatively, arrange the required number of trimmed lamb chops over the batter.

    4. Bake in a hot oven (450°F) for about ¾ hour.

    To Serve: 2 - 4
