Meat Balls In Tomato Sauce

What You Need: |

|
1½ pound minced mutton, lamb or beef
1 large onion (grated)
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
2½ slices dry whole wheat bread (soaked in water and squeezed dry)
2 eggs
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons butter
2 medium tomatoes (or ¼ cup tomato paste)

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Combine meat, grated onion, parsley, bread, eggs, salt and pepper.
|
2. Shape into balls the size of walnuts, and dust with flour.
|
3. Brown in a frying pan in melted butter.
|
4. Add tomatoes (or tomato paste and 1 cup of water).
|
5. Cover and cook over medium flame for 25 minutes.
|
6. Serve hot.
