  • A 3-oz. package soft cream cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • ¼ cup soft butter
  • Fillings (Chocolate - Nut Meringue or Tangy Cheese)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Start heating oven to moderately hot (400°F).

    2. Blend cream cheese with butter, sugar, salt; beat until smooth and creamy.

    3. Add flour, stirring until mixture is well blended. Into 1¾ - inch ungreased patty pans, drop 1 tablespoon of dough; press evenly against bottom and side.

    4. Then fill each lined pan with one of fillings (Chocolate - Nut Meringue or Tangy Cheese).

    5. Bake for 18 - 22 minutes; cool for 15 - 20 minutes, then carefully remove from pans.

    6. Cool before serving.
